I agree with your comments. Anat spoke at my California PT Chapter conference about 3 weeks ago and took the audience by storm. Her assistant was a MD and they were very professional for this group. Anat was able to pull it together well despite being tied to a microphone cord and not have her Power Point come up. By the end of the workshop, about 50 young PT’s went to the back of the room to buy her products.
Yes, you have to have certain qualities to make people buy your products!
Questions:
1) is selling your products your ultimate goal?
2) are those people that can be taken by storm the kind of people you like to communicate with?
3) is not there a contradiction between motivating people to listen to themselves and taking them by storm?
